Configuring Encoding Quality

The quality of the reviewable media files encoded by the ftrack server can be specified in System settings > Review & player > Encoding quality.

Available Encoding quality options are:

Highly compressed
Acceptable quality
Good quality
Great quality
Nearly lossless

Please note: The higher quality setting will increase the loading time when viewing videos in ftrack review and client reviews and will increase space used on cloud storage.

Using the highest setting may cause playback issues when using a network connection with insufficient bandwidth.
