The ftrack Photoshop integration leverages the Connect 3 framework and enables the Open and Publishing of Photoshop PSD and PSB files and Image to ftrack for tracking, review and approval workflows.
Loading Photoshop from Connect or ftrack Studio will allow you to access to the ftrack panel as seen here
If you close your panel, you can launch it again via the Window menu and then Extensions(lagacy) > ftrack.
Photoshop is a little different than the other DCC's as the program itself is written in Javascript, and the framework is written in Python.
So we built a pannel in Photoshop that then calls our python based framework, which can work outside of Photoshop, keeping the consistency in the UI design when interacting with the Publisher Tool and the Open Tool.

Collaboration and Evolution
The Connect Framework repositories are currently closed while we work on making them open-source. We know this is a bit of a bummer, but we want to make sure that the framework is fully customisable before we open it back up to the public.
Once the repositories are open again, we look forward to seeing how your own development progresses. We're always looking for ways to improve the Connect Framework, so your feedback is welcome.
